How to play baccarat? Detailed explanation of baccarat gameplay

Baccarat originated in the Middle Ages and is famous for its zero cards. The game uses 6 decks of playing cards (changed at the end of each round) and is played by both you and the banker.
The banker will give each player a batch of cards, and the key to victory lies in selecting the hand with the highest score. The total score is 9 to 0. If you choose a draw and succeed, your profit is 9:1.

The basic rules of baccarat are as follows:

Firstly, you need to choose the player, banker, tie, or any combination of the three to place a bet. The player plays first, and if the number of cards in hand is between 0 and 5, they need to draw another card; When the dealer’s hand is 7, 8, or 9, there is no need to draw.
If the number of cards in the hand is 0, 1, or 2, the banker needs to draw again. There are two options for you to choose from: click on the “Player”, “Banker”, or “Draw” button, and then click on the chips to place a bet. To cancel the selection, simply click in the chip area and finally click the “Deal” button to start the game.

You may receive the following rewards:

If you choose a draw and succeed, you will receive nine times the bet;
If you choose a player and succeed, you will receive a bet amount and an additional 5 euros reward;
If you choose a banker and succeed, you will receive a bet, but a 5% commission * will be deducted. For example, betting 5 euros can result in a 5 euro refund and 4.75 euros;
If you choose a draw, if successful, you will receive nine times the bet. A bet of 5 euros will be refunded 5 euros, plus an additional 45 euros.
The commission is 5% of the bet amount, rounded to the next quarter. For example, if the minimum bet amount is 6 euros, a commission of 50 cents will be deducted. 5% of 6 euros equals 30 cents, but due to rounding the commission to the next 25 cents, the actual commission is 50 cents.

There are various ways to play baccarat:

American baccarat, also known as Punto Banco, is one of the oldest games commonly found in major casinos in the United States, with the goal of getting as close to 9 points as possible;
Chemin de Fer is the European version of baccarat, which can be found in most European casinos. It differs from the American version by using 6 decks instead of 8 decks;
Super Pan 9 is difficult to find online due to its unique rules, which use an adjusted deck of cards with a total of 36 cards played at a time;
Three card baccarat only uses one deck of cards. If you receive three winning cards from one hand, it is considered a victory, just like receiving five cards in Pontoon.

Baccarat side note

Like many classic casino games, baccarat also includes many interesting side betting gameplay. Below, we will briefly introduce some popular and classic side bets that can be tried by both online and live players.

Progressive baccarat

Accumulated bonuses are a beloved element, not only found in video slot machines, but also widely present in games such as roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. In cumulative baccarat, you can participate in the accumulation of the prize pool every time you place a bet, until someone wins.
The size of accumulated bonuses varies depending on the game, especially for baccarat games created by well-known developers, which have been adopted by many online casinos. Regardless of the form, the rules for distributing cumulative bonuses are generally similar.
For example, if the banker and your hand are both A and 8, the close combination will earn you a bonus. After each card is dealt, you can instantly know if you have won the accumulated bonus.
You don’t need to predict specific combinations to win progressive jackpot side bets, just focus on the odds of other card types. For example, if two companies receive non paired A and 8 at the same time, congratulations and you can receive a bonus of 1000 times the total bet. In addition, the odds for regular card types such as natural 9 or 8 are also 25 times and 20 times, respectively.

Pair up

Among the various variants of baccarat, pair note is also a well-known side note. Whether the banker or your card is a pair, your odds are about 25/1. If the suits of the opposing cards are different, the probability of winning increases to 11/1.

Small/Large

In addition, small/large bets are also additional gameplay offered by many online baccarat games, especially more common in live dealer games. You can choose to bet on the total number of cards played in a game, not just limited to the first two cards.
If you choose to bet ‘small’, you win when the total number of cards dealt is 4, and the odds are usually 1.5/1. On the contrary, if you bet on “big”, you win when the total number of cards dealt is 5 or 6, and the odds are usually 0.54/1.

Total bonus amount

The total bonus bet is not very common, but it is still reflected in some online casinos and live dealer games. When the sum of the banker’s hand and yours is less than 5 or greater than 14, you will win this bet.
The advantage of total bonus side betting is that whether the banker wins, the third card appears, or you draw the third card, as long as the total number of cards on the table meets the conditions, you can win the bonus.
